In this practice we will explore how breath work, mindful movement and yoga nidra (sleep yoga) can support building ease and resilience during this challenging time.

With breathawareness and simple practices, we all have an innate ability to induce all the systems in our body, particularly thenervous system, endocrine system and the brain.Breathing efficiently has the potential to improve many areas of wellbeing such as; sleep, mood, increase energy, emotional resilience, manage anxiety & stress, reduce chronic pain. Join me to explore how breathing can support you during this challenging time and in life as it returns to ‘normal’. Labelling meditation - Saturday May 23rd I found meditation really challenging for many years, along the way I have learnt a few styles of meditation (there are many) that helped me to develop my meditation practice. It is now something I do everyday and feel the benefits - it has become like cleaning my teeth - if I don’t do it I know I need to! I learned this on the Yoga Therapy training and it forms part of the 8 week yoga and mindfulness course for stress, anxiety and depression. It can be used in stillness, on the yoga mat and in life - helps to develop a clearer understanding of your thought patterns and learn to dis-identify with them. This practice develops self awareness and increases our ability to respond rather than react.
