About This Yoga Holiday
Enjoy practising yoga amongst the beautiful olive groves with views of the hills and mountains beyond. Relax, swim, read, explore and breathe. There's plenty of space to be free here.
Who's it for?
This retreat is for anyone from beginners to more experience practitioners. Each session will be modified to meet individual needs. All the yoga is optional - it is your holiday, if you’d like to explore the region you certainly can!
The Yoga Sessions Includes
Asana - Postures & mindful movement to improve body awareness and release holding patterns of stress, tension and postural habits. Increase energy levels and sense of calm.
Pranayama & Breath work - learn and explore ways to breathe more effectively. Explore the benefits on and off your mat!
Yoga philosophy - explore the art of compassion, patience, acceptance, gratitude - qualities at the heart of yoga,
Meditation & mindfulness practices to increase awareness of unhelpful thinking patterns and increase ability to concentrate and focus your mind.
Relaxation - including Yoga Nidra, the queen of relaxation practices,
If you would like to explore the area it may be advisable to hire a car, but there is free shuttle transport available to and from Ancona airport or Marotta train station.
Breakfast 10am: Free time to explore the area, reflect, swim. Massage and yoga therapy will be available for those who wish to book in (additional cost)
Lunch Free time to explore the area, reflect, read, swim. Massage and yoga therapy will be available to those who wish to book in (additional cost) 1.00pm Afternoon/Evening Workshop Yoga practice, pasta making evening or wine tasting evening. 4pm to 6pm
Dinner Local restaurant experience on the last night. 6.30pm
Optional meditation or yoga Nidra to support a good nights sleep. 9:00pm

2 vegetarian / vegan meals a day & healthy snacks. Other dietary requirements can be catered for.

Josie Harrington trained as a Yoga Therapist at the Minded Institute in London, she combines this training with her skills & experience as a mental health nurse. She is a qualified yoga Nidra teacher and has an advanced yoga teaching certificate. She brings a therapeutic approach to teaching yoga & mindfulness, to support health & wellbeing.
